Olivia: Chinchilla Wonder

Olivia is my pet chinchilla. I adopted her from a pet store and from the moment I saw her I knew she and I would be friends. As soon as I bent down to peer into the cage, I saw a mass of sleeping chinchillas, and one lone-dog one hopping all over the place. Went I put out my hand she came right up to me and began sniffing and tasting me.
Now she is the unofficial master of the house. She is semi nocturnal and demands the lights stay on all night. If we forget and turn them off before going to sleep she makes this really sad sounding squeaking noise until we turn them on again. She also has learned to be a pain when she is supposed to go back to her cage after play time. Bribing her with raisins no longer works.
She also like it when we put comic books up against her cage so she can look at the pictures.
She is naughty, but we love her.

I don’t think I’ve ever actually seen a Chinchilla before. She is so cute! The pictures of her in what I can only assume is her litter box are hysterical.
I can’t believe Jayz made such a fortune talking about wearing his Chinchilla! How could anybody do that to these cute little guys? It’s just not right.
I’m glad you found me and thanks for responding to my posts. I look forward to reading more of your Roman life.
