I had to go back to the emergency room last night. But the good news is we went to a different one and it was a lot better. I have been diagnosed with pleurisy which is not fun and I am in lots of pain

I was thinking…could it be a side effect from taking the accutane? I used to work for a dermatologist….and I remember so many side effects from that medication.

OMG Jessica — I am SO sorry to hear you aren’t well. I hope you feel better really soon. BTW I have lived in both the U.S. and Canada and as long as you have okay medical insurance I am sorry to say (as a Canadian) the U.S. is now MUCH better. A couple of years ago I had to take my mom to emergency in Vancouver — she had cut her forehead and was bleeding a lot. Meanwhile all around us people were bleeding and crying. It took four hours for her to be seen, just to get a few stitches and a tetanus shot. It ain’t free when your taxes are paying for it, and we all deserve better. Take care of yourself; I know your blog brightens many peoples’ days and I’m sure tons of readers are pulling for you!

I know how you felt. I’ve experienced the pain of pleurisy. You just can’t breathe! I kept going to the doctor and they didn’t know what was wrong with me until I also ended up at the emergency room. There isn’t much they can do for it.
I hope I never experience it again and also you too!
