Hey Dems, don’t forget to cast your vote for which presidential nominee you want! I just completed my online vote and it was really quick and easy! Too bad the general elections don’t allow for internet voting, we’ll just have to do that the old fashioned way come November.
I guess it is no secret who I am rooting for:

Hi, I came across your blog and I personally think it is very interesting. Keep on writing!
I don’t know what gave it away, but I get the impression that you might be voting for Obama?!
Thanks for ending your lurking days at A Brit Out Of Water…thought I should probably end my lurking days here too. Love the blog…personally I think the culture shock of moving from the US to Italy must be far greater than anything I’m going through…
Hi Jessica! How can you vote for the democrats? Whatever! Love you Sis!
Haha! When you grow up and leave Mom’s house, you’ll be a Democrat too.
You think? What’s the difference anyway?
I am almost certain you will grow up to be a democrat. Right now you are like 11 years old so I can see Mom trying to put her political influence on you. With me, it never worked because I was rebellious. But I assure you the politics of the democrats is more inline with us Generation Y people. As far as the differences, I can talk to you more about it in emails, but first you should decide what issues are important to you and what you personally believe. Then you can take a look at the voting records of both Dems and Reps and see where they fit. For me, the environment, the woman’s right to choose what she wants for her body, gun regulation, human rights for all people, health care for all and the right to privacy (NO patriot act) are issues that are very important to me. In my opinion, Bush has made laws or policies that have gone against everything I believe in, and his party the Republicans support that. So, when you are a little older and can make better decisions about what you believe in, then you can choose the party that best fits your beliefs. Tell Mom hi and do your homework!
I like Obama in a Che Guevera kind of way but I don’t want him to get pummelled in Washington because everyone is a underhanded, sneaky rotten jerk. But I want him to win anyway.
I recently stumbled onto your site and have been reading bits of it. I lived in Rome for a bit and went through many of the same feelings, emotions, experiences, Gelato-cravings you have. It’s great to see you sharing your experiences, and more importantly encouraging ppl to vote! I live in Chicago now so we are carried away with Obama fever!!!! GObama!
