It was 11:00 pm on Friday night and in typical Jessica style, while we were fighting for a spot at Pompi (only the best tiramisu in Rome) I asked Dani what he thought about driving up to Firenze in the morning. He looked cranky. I stated that Katie had never been there, please please please! Then he scratched his head and agreed it would be fun (this is why I love him so). So we ditched the Pompi and drove home so we could go straight to bed and wake up early the next morning. When the alarm rang at 7 am our adventure began.
The road trip was on and only 3 hours later we arrived. We didn’t have a plan, or a map, but we had money and good attitudes. We stopped at a bunch of booths with bottles of wine and discovered there was a wine tasting tour… ALL OVER THE CITY! For 10 euro we got our own wine glasses with a neck holder, a map of all the wine posts and a book describing all the different types. Let’s just say by glass three we were feeling great!
We ate some interesting Florentine dishes including Zombie Balls and mushy bread with tomato sauce. The rest of the day was spent sightseeing!

By glass three?? Hehe… with me, by white wine glass two
Trust me…
(but red wine glass ONE) I’m feeling really, really greeeat
Amazingggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg…very very jealous of you.:p I long hope for the date of moving to Denmark.
Ok, so, what are zombie balls?
Is there a race of zombie eunuchs in Italy or are they something a wee bit more interesting?
