As I mentioned in my last post I found a place Tour Del Gelato worthy while exploring Nemi. It is called Bar del Belvedere and is a little bit of a hike down a path, but the view of Lake Nemi is amazing. I ordered strawberry gelato with fragoline and it was amazing. The gelato itself was the best fragola flavor I have ever tried and the fragoline were very sweet and practically melted on your tongue. It may be the best the gelato I have ever had (A BIG proclamation!). If you are in Nemi just follow the signs that say “bar —->” that point to your right if you are facing the lake. Go down a bunch of steps and past a few fountains and you are there!

Ciao, you have a nice blog that shows my country from a different point of view.
I wish you the best!

The BEST gelato EVER? Wow. That is really something. Never been to Nemi, but this could be an incentive…
Luciano: thanks for the compliment!
Shelley: REALLY? you have never been to Nemi!? you must go!
You’re making me hunnngry for gelato.
It’s hard to read your entries cause I always feel equated to a poor starving Afghan refugee in the end, like I’ve never had “real” good food in my life! It’s lovely, delicious torture!
